AI for restaurants: menu, inventory and reports
In Dishment, AI takes on the slow work: it reads menus and invoices, writes descriptions and translations, and opens the report a question asks for. Every result is a proposal — it reaches the menu and the stock once you confirm it.

What it solves
№ 01
Typing the menu in by hand
200 dishes with names, prices and categories one by one take days, and translating them into Russian and English is another job.
№ 02
Invoices go in late
The goods have arrived, but the invoice sits in a folder until the end of the week: until then stock and food cost are wrong.
№ 03
Figures are hard to find
To see yesterday’s revenue or who voided the most, you have to know which report to open.

What AI does in Dishment
Menus and invoices from photos, reports from a question, search by meaning — you confirm
Menu from a photo, PDF or Excel
A photo, a PDF, text or any Excel sheet: dishes, prices, portions and categories are read, and the names translated into Russian and English. A doubtful price is marked yellow.
Reloading without duplicates
The same dish written differently in a new file is found and updated, keeping its sales and tech card. Old duplicates can be merged, and an upload undone within 7 days.
Invoices from photos, receipts by voice
Snap the invoice’s table — the draft receipt is ready, with price rises shown. Unpacking, say «two kilos of tomatoes» — the line adds itself. In the Inventory module.
Expenses from receipts and notebooks
In the Dishment Manager app, photograph a receipt, a bill or a notebook page of expenses: each expense becomes its own line and AI picks the category. You check, save, and the photo stays as the receipt. With the Finance module.
Tech card drafts
Dishes without a tech card get drafts made from your raw materials catalogue; you check and save each one. In the Inventory module.
«Ask», the weekly summary, advice
Type «Voids yesterday» — the report opens with the period and venue, and the system works out the figures itself. Mondays bring the weekly summary. ABC advice comes with Advanced reports, questions in Telegram with Notifications.
Search by meaning and by photo
«düyü» finds the plov: by description, tech card and meaning; a dish can be found by its photo too. Dishes without a description get an AI draft, which guests see only once confirmed.

How it works
- 01
In Back Office, open Menu → Import and upload a photo of your menu, a PDF or an Excel file.
- 02
Check what was read: doubtful rows are marked, and you fix and confirm each one.
- 03
Then post an invoice from a photo, open a report with a question in ⌘K, and search the menu by meaning.

Which venues it suits
Pick your format and we'll show how your day goes, what you'll use and roughly what it costs.

Frequently asked questions
Does AI cost extra?
No. The menu features and «Ask» are in the base plan; invoices, receipts by voice and tech cards work with the Inventory module, expenses from photos with Finance, ABC advice with Advanced reports, and questions in Telegram with Notifications. Each company has a daily request limit, renewed the next day.
Can AI make mistakes?
Yes, which is why every result is a proposal: it is written to the menu, the stock, a tech card or the finances only once you confirm it. Money figures — revenue, food cost, stock — are worked out by the system itself, not by AI.
What data is sent?
Only menu, sales, stock and expense data: the names and photos of dishes and raw materials, figures, and an expense’s photo. No personal data of staff, guests or customers is sent, and names in a question are replaced with placeholders. More in the Privacy policy.
Can AI be switched off?
You can switch description drafts off yourself in Back Office settings. To switch AI off for your company altogether, write to support.
